Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a X-ray Technologist in Eureka, California. This role involves providing radiologic imaging services in an acute care hospital setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiography procedures according to established protocols, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining quality standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, with 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California license, Fluoro certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
• Certifications: ARRT R, BLS.
• Experience: 0 years minimum required; 1 year of experience preferred.
• Open to accepting first-time travelers: Yes.
• Weekend Requirement: Traveler must be willing to work on weekends as per assignment needs.
• Floating: Travelers may be expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
• Holidays: Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
• Additional Information:
  • The candidate must have specific charting experience with Epic.
  • Must have the ability to perform procedures such as abdomen decubitus, chest, pelvis, extremities, and portable imaging.
  • Prior community hospital or outpatient experience is preferred.
  • Valid California license to be in hand at the time of submission.
  • References required: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (6 months for CNAs).
  • The candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with a patient census that involves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
