Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) in Evansville, Indiana. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services in an acute care hospital setting, with a focus on pediatric and adult patients across medical/surgical, intensive care, and step-down units. The role requires adaptability to a dynamic clinical environment and excellent patient management skills.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour daytime shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate in Respiratory Therapy, Indiana license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, and at least 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy. EPIC charting experience is highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Float: Will float to inpatient units/facilities.
• Additional Information: The position is at an acute care hospital with approximately 280 beds, serving medical/surgical, intensive care, and step-down units. Candidates should demonstrate resilience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage change effectively. Scrub colors are black. No Covid-19 vaccine requirement at this time, subject to change. Holiday rotation is every other holiday, and interview days are Monday through Friday.
