Job Summary
X-ray Technologist in Wichita, Kansas. This position involves providing diagnostic radiologic services in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting. The role requires operating imaging equipment and ensuring patient safety during procedures, with a focus on delivering quality care in a critical environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift with a total of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of current Radiologic Technologist experience, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (R) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and active Kansas state Radiologic Technologist license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior radiologic technician experience in a freestanding emergency department, CT technician experience, and familiarity with GE CT scanners and diagnostic radiology equipment.
- Additional Information: The position involves performing diagnostic CT and X-ray studies using GE equipment. The team currently consists of skilled staff with extensive experience and access to newer technology.
