Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General position is available in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves performing ultrasound procedures across a busy facility with high patient volumes and a diverse case mix. The ultrasonographer will support a team dedicated to delivering quality imaging services, with opportunities to work with advanced equipment and a collaborative team environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minimum 6 months current Ultrasound Technologist experience, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Sonography certification or ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification, located within the United States, with no minimum years of experience specified
- Preferred Qualifications: TCD (Transcranial Doppler) experience, prior experience working in large trauma facilities
- Include Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The unit performs vascular and obstetric procedures, utilizing new and advanced ultrasound equipment. Staff work as a cohesive team, focusing on high-quality exams validated by radiologists. The department values a positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a variety of case studies available for professional growth.
