Radiation Therapist in Lubbock, Texas. This position involves providing radiation therapy services in a pediatric trauma center setting. The role requires delivering patient care in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and quality, supporting interdisciplinary teams across the facility.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Radiation Therapy, Texas licensure or compact license, current certification proving certs are not expired, and at least 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in a community hospital setting, familiarity with charting systems, and patient ratio experience
- Additional Information: Position may involve float between units; no on-call or weekend shifts required. Approximate patient ratio is 20 patients per radiation therapy specialist. Clinical responsibilities include managing pediatric patient care and operating specialized equipment. The candidate must complete all onboarding requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance and provide proof of permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility.
