Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technician (Ultrasound Tech) position located in Walnut Creek, California, involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a hospital or healthcare environment. The role requires active participation in patient care through ultrasound imaging, adhering to department protocols, and maintaining equipment. The assignment is focused on acute care settings with flexible scheduling options, including weekends.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with Saturday and Sunday AM and PM shifts, plus other shifts during the week. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ultrasound technology, current BLS certification, at least 2+ years of recent acute care ultrasound experience, and credentials in RVT (vascular), OB (obstetrics), and ABD (abdominal) ultrasound.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience, pediatric (PEDS) and emergency room (ER) ultrasound experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: The target start date for this assignment is 08/11/2026, with a 13-week duration. All time-off requests must be listed on file prior to start. All ultrasound procedures will be reviewed, and offers will be based on experience and credentials.
