Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Bakersfield, California. This role involves performing procedures in a STEMI receiving facility with a focus on cardiac, vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology, and neuro interventions. The technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting during complex cases and supporting patient care during procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification in ARRT, Fluoroscopy, and BLS; minimum of 0 years of experience; licensed to submit in the state of California; willing to work rotating weekend and call shifts including Fridays through Sundays; must have current cath lab experience and be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors), and balloon pumps.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: First-time travelers are welcome. Shift rotations include Fridays through Sundays days, every other week. The unit performs 10-22 cases daily across five suites, including coronary, peripheral, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology cases. The hospital may cancel up to four shifts within a 13-week assignment.
