Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing respiratory care for pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering treatments, operating ventilators and monitoring equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams during night shifts.

Job Details:

Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current RRT credential, current Virginia State License, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and 0 years of experience.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Must have current Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential, Virginia State License, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Additional Information: Unit includes high-acuity pediatric and adult patients with procedures such as nebulizers, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, and blood gas analysis. The environment is fast-paced, requiring adaptability and strong clinical skills. Rotating weekends and on-call shifts are required.
