Description

Job Summary
Xray Technologist position located in Silverdale, Washington. This role involves performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and operating room examinations across multiple imaging modalities. The position requires flexibility with shifts and a focus on delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Shift Schedule: Days, Fridays through Sundays, 07:00 AM 07:30 PM, with a combination of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, current BLS (Basic Life Support), Certified Radiologic Technologist, Washington State license required at time of submittal, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in radiologic technology. Valid drivers license and own lead markers are mandatory.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and operating room imaging studies; ability to perform all general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR exams; capable of starting IVs is a plus but not required.
  • Schedule: Shifts are assigned and posted at least two weeks in advance; may include weekend shifts and some holiday assignments.
  • Additional Information: Department utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and SECTRA PACS software. Equipment includes GE, Phillips, and Siemens imaging systems, with access to multiple general X-ray rooms, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging units. No RRA (Registered Radiology Assistants) are used; radiologists are available 24/7. The first three days consist of department-specific orientation. Scrubs are optional and can be of any tasteful color or hospital scrubs for OR staff.
  • Other Notes: Personal scrubs are permitted; hospital-provided scrubs are available only for OR staff. The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment depending on scheduling needs.
