Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics - Oregon, Ohio. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients within a healthcare facility. The Respiratory Therapist will evaluate patient needs, operate ventilatory equipment, perform diagnostic tests, and collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, all within the scope of professional licensing and minimal supervision.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered; employment location in Oregon, Ohio; one or more years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care and emergency procedures.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating ventilatory equipment, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, conducting pulmonary function tests, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves participating in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and supporting laboratory testing when applicable.
