Job Summary

Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in inpatient services is sought for a facility located in Sparrr, Florida. This position involves providing outpatient hand therapy, including splinting and full hand caseload management. The role requires delivering high-quality care focused on patient recovery, education, and adherence to safety and organizational standards.

Job Details

• Shift Hours: 8 hours per day
• Schedule: Days shift from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school, active applicable license for the state of Florida, 1 year of outpatient clinical experience, hand therapy experience, comfort making splints, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of outpatient experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is highly desired
• Additional Information: The therapist will evaluate assigned patients, develop and modify treatment plans according to patient needs and physician directives, and ensure accurate documentation. Responsibilities include participation in student programs, ongoing professional development, adherence to state practice acts, and engagement in performance improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes safety, ethical practice, and professionalism in all activities.
