Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RTT) Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies under the general direction of a physician. The role includes assessing patient conditions, operating respiratory equipment, administering treatments, and monitoring physiological responses, supporting all patient populations across various service areas.

Job Details:

• Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved respiratory program; 2 years of experience; licensure including PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT); NRP may be required for certain facilities; state license as applicable

• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will read prescriptions, measure arterial blood gases, operate mechanical ventilators and other respiratory devices, evaluate medical orders, and perform pulmonary function tests. Responsibilities also include maintaining patient charts, assisting in transporting mechanically ventilated patients, and responding to code situations. All duties are performed in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors.
