Physical Therapist Inpatient position available in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, BLS Certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, previous LTACH experience, and a Bachelors or higher degree in Physical Therapy
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
• Additional Information: Performs comprehensive patient evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans aimed at progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay. Manages caseload flexibly, conducting individual and group therapy sessions. Completes timely, accurate medical record documentation, including goal setting, discharge summaries, and compliance with applicable guidelines. Participates in student supervision and professional development activities. Adheres to all licensing and regulatory requirements and contributes to organizational quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrates a commitment to safety and professional standards in all aspects of patient care and team collaboration.
