Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Inpatient for a facility located in Bryan, Texas. The position involves providing inpatient physical therapy services in a busy acute care setting. The role requires evaluating and treating adult patients with various medical conditions, including trauma, orthopedic, surgical, neuro, and oncology cases. The position offers an opportunity to work within a Level III trauma center, contributing to patient recovery and rehabilitation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with alternating weekends; a compensatory day is provided during the week for any weekend days worked.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors or higher degree in Physical Therapy; active license to practice in Texas; minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care settings; BLS Certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level III trauma center and familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Anticipated start date is 08/03/2026.
- Patients are primarily adults or older teens, with minimal pediatric cases.
- The unit focuses on adult intensive care, telemetry, ortho, surgical, neuro, oncology, and general medical conditions.
- Candidates may be asked to precept, as needed by the unit.
- The facility requires a copy of a government-issued ID at the time of submittal for validation purposes.
- Candidates must not have been directly employed by any facility associated with the organization within the past year, including affiliated health systems.
