Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position in Pontiac, Michigan. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a busy cardiovascular/interventional laboratory setting, including cardiac catheterizations, angiographies, and peripheral angioplasties. The technologist will support inpatient and outpatient services in a facility committed to delivering high-quality cardiac care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating
- Scheduled Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: 2 years cath lab experience, Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed
- Additional Information: The position requires experience with cardiac catheterization, angiography, peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement, venography, and cardiac pacemaker insertions. The facility provides both inpatient and one-day outpatient services, offering a dynamic work environment with on-call responsibilities. Number of on-call days ranges between 8-12 per month, including one full weekend.
