Respiratory Therapist Registered (RTT) Williamstown, PA
This position involves providing specialized respiratory therapy services under the general direction of a physician. The role includes assessing patient conditions, operating respiratory therapy equipment, monitoring responses to therapy, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes in a dynamic clinical setting. The position requires adherence to established clinical protocols and competency standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a CoARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) approved respiratory program; at least 2 years of experience; applicable state license in Pennsylvania; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT).
• Preferred Qualifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) may be required for certain facilities.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will read prescriptions, assess patient condition through blood gases and clinical data, operate and inspect respiratory therapy equipment, perform pulmonary function tests, and respond to code situations. Responsibilities also include documentation and assisting with patient transport for mechanically ventilated patients.
