Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position located in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves evaluating, planning, and supervising occupational therapy treatments for inpatient patients. The occupational therapist will provide patient-centered care tailored to individual needs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure treatment documentation aligns with regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have successfully completed an educational program in occupational therapy approved by the appropriate governing board. Must possess a current Occupational Therapy license from the State of Arizona. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Employees working for healthcare providers must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain it throughout employment. Ability to become proficient with computer software applications used in automated patient care settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing skilled in-patient occupational therapy services, evaluating patient progress, and documenting treatments accurately and comprehensively. The role requires effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring safety and quality care.
