Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer General position is located in Salem, Virginia. This role involves performing general ultrasound procedures, including neonatal head ultrasounds, in a hospital setting. The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging equipment and to contribute to patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, beginning on 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ARDMS and ARRT (S), relevant healthcare professional experience including general ultrasound and neonatal head ultrasounds, and current licensure as required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ultrasound procedures on neonatal heads is preferred.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes GE E10 and Trophon equipment, with documentation managed through Meditech and GE PACs systems. Staff works rotating call with scheduled shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. No floating policy is in place. The hospital has a team experienced in ultrasound imaging, with access to new technology and equipment to support patient diagnostics.
