Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Home Health services is sought for a temporary assignment in Dover, Delaware. The position involves evaluating and providing therapeutic services to patients in their home environment, adhering to physicians' orders and developing individualized treatment plans. The role requires reliable clinical judgment, effective communication, and experience in home health settings.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current and unencumbered license to practice physical therapy specific to Delaware; successful completion of a physical therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or equivalent accreditation; 0 to 3 years of physical therapy experience; current CPR certification; familiarity with general computer functions including email, internet, and online HR services.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in home health care; previous use of HCHB electronic medical record system.
- Additional Information: The physical therapist will be responsible for patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and conducting on-site assessments. The assignment covers Dover and surrounding areas, with variable weekly travel. Reliable transportation, a current drivers license, and agency-required liability insurance are necessary. The position reports to the organizations designated supervisor and is slated for approximately 13 weeks.
