Description
Job Summary:
An MRI Technologist position is available in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures within a healthcare facility, supporting clinical staff and ensuring quality imaging services. The position offers a comprehensive work schedule, including weekend rotations, with a focus on providing patient-centered care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Shift hours are from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The weekly hours are a minimum of 36 hours.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in MRI registration, with no minimum years of experience required. Candidates must be registered MRI technologists and possess current certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Breast MRI procedures or related specialty skills is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional Information: The unit has nine staff members including one charge, three RNs, two CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. Equipment used includes GE EMR and Cerner systems. Typical procedures include MRI Contrast and non-Contrast imaging. The facility maintains a dress code of black scrubs. The hours are 7:00 am-10:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am-4:30 pm on weekends, with rotating weekends and potential on-call responsibilities.
