Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in California. This position involves providing independent respiratory care, pulmonary, and cardiology diagnostic testing to pediatric and adult patients across various healthcare settings. The role requires collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and modify care plans, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate or technical degree; proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); current license in the practicing state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; knowledge of clinical techniques, applications, and equipment from at least one year of clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience.
• Additional Information: The position involves performing all basic modalities of respiratory care, managing mechanical ventilators, and conducting pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing. Responsibilities include patient assessments, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare team members. May supervise staff and be assigned to various system areas where respiratory care is needed.
