Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Technologist position located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves assisting with percutaneous cardiac and vascular procedures within a specialized Cath Laboratory environment. The technologist will support physicians during procedures, operate specialized equipment, and ensure patient safety and care standards are maintained.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts working 10 hours per day, 4 days a week, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification and licensure including BLS, ACLS, and CCI-RCIS or ARRT license, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cardiac Catheter Lab Technologist.
- Preferred Qualifications: Basic EKG interpretation skills (must pass facility test), sterile technique proficiency, hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy with C-arm and image processing, experience with EPIC electronic health record, and ability to assist physicians during cardiac and vascular percutaneous procedures in a sterile environment.
- Additional Information: This assignment is 13 weeks long, with rotating on-call availability one to two days per week and rotating weekends every 3-4 weeks. The dress code requires burgundy scrubs. Parking is available at a designated lot with a shuttle service during daytime; evening and night shifts are parked in a garage at the facility.
