Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position available in Palo Alto, California. This role involves performing diverse radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under general supervision. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, preparing patients, ensuring quality imaging, and following radiation safety protocols to meet departmental standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Radiologic Technology (CRT), Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-RTR), and Rad Tech Fluoroscopy (RTF); California state licensure; 0 years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RIS, PACS, and fluoroscopic imaging techniques; strong knowledge of anatomy and diagnostic imaging principles.
- Additional Information: Assists radiologists during procedures, prepares patients and equipment, troubleshoots imaging systems including RIS and PACS, and ensures adherence to safety and quality protocols.
