Description

Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Home Health in Dover, Delaware. This position involves providing patient evaluations and therapeutic services in a home health setting, following physicians' orders. The role requires working within state-specific regulations and supervising therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Days, 8 hours per day
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Successful completion of an occupational therapy program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association or equivalent; current and unencumbered license to practice occupational therapy in Delaware; 0-3 years of occupational therapy experience preferred; current CPR certification; familiarity with general computer use including email, internet, and online HR and training platforms.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of occupational therapy experience in a home health setting, experience with HCHB electronic medical records system.
  • Additional Information: The position involves providing occupational therapy services in clients' homes, assessing client needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, educating clients and families, and supervising therapy assistants and home health aides as needed. Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance are mandatory. The assignment is scheduled for 13 weeks, covering the Kent County region.
