Job Details

• Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts
• Position Description: The Physical Therapist will perform evaluative and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician or accepted healthcare provider, establishing and implementing a comprehensive treatment plan aligned with department protocols. Responsibilities include evaluating residents, setting functional treatment goals, documenting care in the Electronic Medical Record, and coordinating discharge planning.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher; active license as a Physical Therapist in the applicable state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred; prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
• Additional Information: The role emphasizes resident-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and maintaining compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement regulations. Supervision of assistant-level staff and mentorship for new employees are integral parts of the position. Maintaining clinical skills and departmental cleanliness are also expected.
