Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an X-ray Technologist located in Seattle, Washington. This role involves performing all X-ray procedures, including surgery running C-arm as part of a healthcare team. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and proficiently managing multiple types of imaging exams. The shift scheduled is in the evening hours, supporting the facility's operational needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shift, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State license; Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography (R), Basic Life Support (BLS); Experience in all X-ray procedures and in surgery running C-arm; 0 years minimum experience; Location in Washington State.
- Additional Information: All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the healthcare provider for a minimum of three months to qualify for this travel position. Voluntary on-call is appreciated but not required. The position involves performing approximately 17-20 exams per night, predominantly in-house and emergency room, with extra work in portable exams. Equipment used includes Phillips and Toshiba imaging systems with PACS. Candidates must supply two references covering one year within the last three years during the compliance process. Modules are non-billable and typically require an average of 16 hours to complete, with over 20 hours needing project manager approval.
