Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering critical respiratory therapies, including aerosol setups, airway management, and mechanical ventilation support, in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Mixture of 12-hour (7 p.m. 7 a.m.) and 8-hour (11 p.m. 7 a.m.) shifts. Every other weekend required. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). A valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license. One year of clinical experience preferred, but all candidates with at least 0 years of experience are welcome if they meet other prerequisites.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic charting experience is heavily preferred.

  Candidates must have the ability to care for COVID-19 patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance free; please notify travelers prior to submission.

• Certifications/Skills: Adults and pediatric critical care, aerosol setups, airway management, alveolar recruitment strategies, high-flow nasal cannula, mechanical ventilation, arterial blood gases interpretation, and advanced respiratory procedures.
