Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) at Pittsburgh, PA This position involves providing assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. The role requires experience with neonatal and pediatric patients, ensuring comprehensive respiratory care. The assignment begins as soon as possible for a duration of 13 weeks.

Job Details

Shift and Schedule: Evenings, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania Respiratory Care License via the Pennsylvania Department of State's State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine, 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, proficiency with respiratory care procedures and diagnostic testing, ability to perform patient and family education, and handling documentation such as charting and billing
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory care
Additional Information: This role involves administering therapeutic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies, performing diagnostic procedures, providing instruction to patients and healthcare team members, and completing necessary documentation. No float rotation is required.
