Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) position located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This role involves providing professional respiratory care to patients across all age groups, including critical care and general patient care activities. The position requires working during night shifts, with a focus on delivering predictable and quality patient care within the scope of practice defined by state regulations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a CAHEA (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) approved training program in respiratory care; current license to practice respiratory care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in North Carolina; Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or eligible to sit for exam; current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification; current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in critical care settings is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will be responsible for delivering specialized respiratory interventions and assessments, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards. The role entails working within the scope of the North Carolina Respiratory Care Practice Act and adhering to organizational policies.
