Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Outpatient in Iowa. This position involves evaluating assigned patients in an outpatient neuro setting, developing and modifying individualized treatment plans based on clinical reasoning and patient needs. The role emphasizes collaborative care within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association; BLS Certification; at least one year of clinical experience.
• Responsibilities include completing comprehensive patient evaluations, developing treatment plans focused on discharge progression, collaborating with team members, managing caseloads efficiently, and documenting clinical notes accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participates in student training and professional development activities, adheres to state practice acts and organizational performance improvement initiatives, and performs other related duties as assigned.
