Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (INTRA CL) Technologist position located in a healthcare facility. The role involves independently performing imaging procedures, including a variety of technical procedures requiring professional judgment and expertise. The position includes four days of daytime shifts with start times at either 0600 or 0700, along with on-call responsibilities in the evenings and every 3-4 weekends. The ideal candidate will support patient safety, administer contrast agents, and collaborate effectively with team members.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts with start times at 0600 or 0700, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week. On-call from 5 PM to 7 AM, with additional on-call duties every 3-4 weekends, Friday 5 PM through Monday 6 AM.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology; 2 years of experience; ARRT certification or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; applicable Pennsylvania Act 31, 33, 34, and 73 clearances.
- Additional Information: Performs imaging procedures with competency and professionalism. Supports other departments when needed, ensures aseptic technique, and maintains patient safety protocols. Communicates effectively with patients and team members, accurately reviews patient history, and documents procedures properly. Performs additional duties as assigned and aligns with organizational competencies.
