Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered specializing in Pediatric (RT PEDS) is needed in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Job Details:

• Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
• Location: Warrensville Heights, Ohio
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapy certification, certified Pediatric specialization, Ohio licensure, 1 year of relevant experience, and current CPR/BLS certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional pediatric respiratory care certifications, ACLS certification, experience with advanced ventilatory equipment, and familiarity with pediatric pulmonary procedures
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist provides intensive respiratory care, evaluates patient conditions, and manages invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment. The role includes performing diagnostic tests, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position requires adherence to hospital policies and safety procedures, with responsibilities including patient assessment, treatment administration, equipment setup, and emergency response per BLS and ACLS guidelines.
