Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide specialized respiratory care to patients within a dedicated healthcare facility. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, delivering invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT), Ohio state license or eligibility, and 1 year of relevant experience or more
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric patients and proficiency in advanced respiratory procedures
• Additional Information:
  • Provides intensive respiratory care, including ventilator management and airway maintenance
  • Performs routine assessment of chest X-rays, EKGs, pulmonary function studies, and arterial punctures
  • Assists with procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care
  • Operates and maintains ventilatory equipment, including setup, self-test, and troubleshooting
  • Follows all policies related to laboratory testing and quality assurance
  • Capable of performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to BLS and ACLS guidelines
  • Maintains accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses
  • Communicates effectively with physicians and team members to optimize patient care
