Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging is needed in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves performing and providing appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with all relevant guidelines. The position requires working in an immediate-care facility with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and equipment maintenance, supported by experience with GE imaging equipment and the ability to work independently.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including every other weekend and one on-call shift every three weeks.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiography school; New Jersey State RT License; ARRT certification; 1-3 years of experience as an X-ray technician; experience with GE equipment; comfortable working in an operating room environment; able to work independently.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a high-volume facility; prior OR experience preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes, maintain all equipment used for procedures, assess safety, and ensure patient comfort. Must have sufficient experience to work independently in a 900-bed facility and demonstrate knowledge of clinical trends, hardware, and software technology. The role includes responsibilities for troubleshooting, setup, and utilization of imaging equipment, with an emphasis on initiative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
