Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) opportunity available in Richland, Washington. This position involves working with neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a high-acuity setting. The role requires flexibility in float between units, with a focus on providing advanced respiratory care for diverse patient populations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift hours, 36 hours per week, starting 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS or ENPC, RRT or CRT, minimum of 1 year of experience, valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk neonatal and pediatric respiratory procedures, including nitric oxide, jet and oscillator ventilation competency
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required between units, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult units
- Additional Information: The position is classified as VAR SHIFT for the unit, even for full-time staff. Flexibility is essential for successful placement. Candidates must commit to working three of the five designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). All scheduling requests must be specified during the application process, as post-acceptance requests may not be considered. Candidates should respond regarding previous experience with any Providence facility, including locations and dates worked. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required. Candidates may be asked to float between nearby sister facilities.
