Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) Asheville, NC | Nights
This position involves providing respiratory therapy services within a renowned healthcare organization in Asheville. The Respiratory Therapist will deliver specialized care to pediatric and adult patients, supporting critical care needs across multiple units, including the NICU and Pediatric services. The role requires a dedicated professional committed to high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Certifications: North Carolina Respiratory License, RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), BLS, ACLS, PALS are required; NRP is preferred.
- Education/Experience: 5 years of experience in respiratory therapy; 0 years minimum experience.
- Location Requirements: Asheville, NC.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include performing procedures using GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices, and adhering to unit policies and guidelines.
- Additional Information: Varying weekends, with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the listed qualifications to be considered.
