Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Certified Laboratory (CL) technologist position available in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves providing neuro diagnostic and neuro intervention procedures within a teaching hospital environment. The successful candidate will support orientation and training efforts while adhering to scheduled shifts and onboarding requirements.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift hours, 9 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of relevant experience, neuro diagnostic and neuro intervention experience, certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, must have at least 2 years in the specialty, and must explain all work history gaps over 90 days. Submission must include a skills checklist, copy of license, and a work history demonstrating the minimum experience. Only local candidates are not accepted.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with students and new hires, ability to train or precept staff, and familiarity with a teaching hospital environment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Orientation occurs on 8/24, 9/8, and 9/21, conducted every other Monday. Candidates must be pre-closed; all RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included in the submission packet. The position involves occasional night, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations, with assignments ending on Saturdays. This facility can cancel up to 27 hours prior to an assignment due to census, and candidates should be prepared for active clinical engagement with students and new hires.
