Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Laboratory (INTRA CL) nurse position located in Reston, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy catheterization laboratory performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, including PCI, STEMI management, cardiac ablations, and device implantations. The position requires a dedicated professional with a strong clinical background in cardiovascular procedures and patient care.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: RN license, at least two years of experience in a cath lab setting, certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with STEMI, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), diagnostic coronary angiography, and electrophysiology procedures is preferred.
Procedures performed on unit: Diagnostic and PCI coronary catheterizations, STEMI management, pacemaker/implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implantations, cardiac ablations, and Watchman device procedures.
Additional Information: The unit currently staff two members due to recent team changes, with additional backfill needs. Scrubs will be provided per uniform policy. The facility uses advanced diagnostic and intervention equipment such as MacLab, Impella, IABPs, and CardioLab systems. Floating policy is none, with no specified float rotation requirement.
