Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Certified Laboratory (CL) nurse in Reston, Virginia. This role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures within a dedicated unit, with responsibilities including patient care, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols. The position requires hands-on experience in interventional radiology settings, contributing to patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, with schedules of 10 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN license, at least two years of experience in interventional radiology or a similar setting.
- Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interventional radiology procedures, knowledge of equipment such as MacLab, Acist, Baxter IV pumps, Boston Sci IVUS and DFR, Zoll defibrillators, GE ultrasounds, Impella, and IABPs; familiarity with both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like PCI, STEMI, pacemaker/ICD implantations, cardiac ablations, and Watchman devices.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a 4x10 or 3x12 schedule, and call responsibilities approximately 10 days per month.
- Patient Care Experience: Minimum of two years working specifically within interventional radiology or related cardiovascular procedures.
