Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Outpatient position is available in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, starting on October 4, 2026. This role involves providing outpatient therapy services to general adult orthopedic, balance, and generalized weakness patient populations, focusing on patient-centered care in a clinical setting. The position offers a collaborative work environment and opportunities to support various patient needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have at least 1 year of experience, current licensure as a Physical Therapist, and relevant certifications as required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting outpatient orthopedic and balance patients, strong communication skills, and a positive, cooperative personality.
• Float: Float rotation may be required; staff may support different units based on operational needs.
• Additional Information: The role involves working with a team of three physical therapists, one physical therapist assistant, and three occupational therapists. The patient ratio is approximately 1:1, with 45-minute evaluation and treatment sessions. Standard outpatient equipment and the EPIC electronic medical record system are used. Dress code is scrubs, and open toe shoes, jeans, and scents are not acceptable attire.
