Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Escanaba, Michigan. This role involves providing patient care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting, working with a diverse range of diagnoses including geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. The therapist will be responsible for treating 7-10 patients per day and will be supervised by lead therapists or department-specific leadership.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour days with variable start times; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Michigan license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; active BLS (AHA) certification; minimum of 1 year of experience; good standing with a department-specific orientation (1-2 shifts), Epic EMR training, and mentorship as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional Information: Local rate policies apply to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles; a rehab tech assists with patient care and facility operations; no weekend or holiday requirements; orientation includes Epic training and mentorship; facility operates in an inpatient rehab setting with a lead therapist on each shift.
