Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in inpatient care in Hilo, Hawaii. This position involves evaluating and re-evaluating assigned residents or patients and developing ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by attending physicians or consulting specialists. The role requires availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on hospital operations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with variable times, including availability for shifts from Monday to Sunday between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, with at least 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Hawaii State license, minimum 6 months of work experience in adult acute inpatient, rehab hospital, or skilled nursing facility settings. Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Additional Information: Candidate must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend the employee health appointment on Friday. The start date is 09/21/2026.
- Position Location: 1190 WAIANUENUE AVE, HILO, HI 96720.
