Job Summary:
The X-ray Technologist position is located in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves providing radiologic imaging services within a pediatric-focused healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will operate different imaging modalities, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT - R), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Washington State license, and at least 1 year of experience with pediatric patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fluoroscopy, upper gastrointestinal studies, ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt) imaging, and pediatric radiology procedures.
• Patient Types and Common Diagnoses: Patients aged 0-18 years, with various diagnoses requiring radiologic imaging.
• Skills Required: Proficiency in pediatric imaging, experience with Siemens YSIO Xpree, Agile Max, Cannon Portables, GE OEC c-arm, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and a compassionate demeanor with children and their families.
• Additional Information: The position may involve working in the operating room, emergency room, fluoroscopy, or portable settings in a pediatric trauma center. The candidate should be adaptable and capable of working across multiple clinical environments.
