Ultrasonographer Echo specializing in echocardiography is sought for a hospital in Norfolk, VA. Job Details

• Location: Norfolk, VA
• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: RDCS-PE-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent, 2 years of sonography experience in cardiac ultrasound, valid state licensing if applicable, and authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric echocardiography, proficiency with stress and transesophageal echocardiography, and familiarity with electrocardiograms and Holter monitors.
• Additional Information: The sonographer will be responsible for preparing interpretation reports for echocardiograms, managing billing procedures, study transmittal, and providing coverage for satellite sites. The role includes performing noninvasive testing and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
