Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Richland, Washington. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a Level 2 regional trauma center. Flexibility to float between units and operate independently is required, with a focus on adult and pediatric patient populations.
Job Details
- Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
- Location: Richland, Washington
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid Allied license, 2 years of experience, certifications including ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, and RRT.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in NICU Level III or IV, Trauma Level I or II, and community hospital experience.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT, or ENPC.
- Special Requirements: WA license in hand, ability to work independently in a Level 3 NICU, and experience with high-risk neonatal care and trauma settings.
- Additional Information: Must be flexible to float across departments, with experience in high acuity neonatal and trauma care. Mandatory compliance documentation by the deadline, detailed interview availability with multiple time options, and two references within the past three years.
