Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Seattle, Washington. This position involves working in a high-volume catheterization lab supporting cardiovascular procedures such as diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures, TAVR, and other special procedures. The role requires specialization in cardiac monitoring, vascular access, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, certification in ACLS and BLS, valid license to practice in Washington or applicable state, experience with cardiac procedures, adult patient care, and monitoring.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ARRT Registration or Advanced Certifications, experience with Epic charting system, interdisciplinary support familiarity, and prior community hospital or cath lab experience.
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details:
    • Inpatient and outpatient cardiac procedures including stress tests, holter monitoring, and recognition of arrhythmias.
    • Procedures rooms include three catheterization labs and one hybrid OR.
    • Utilization of advanced equipment such as fluoroscopy, IABP placement, Impella, Rotablator atherectomy, and TAVR.
    • Support staff includes respiratory, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
  • Patient Care Details:
    • Adult and geriatric patient populations with an average daily census of 17 patients.
    • Unit supports interdisciplinary teams and special equipment like a Sterotaxis lab.
  • Travel & Certification Requirements:
    • Travel experience required.
    • Two references covering the past three years, with at least one year of experience.
    • Completion of non-billable modules averaging 16 hours, with more than 20 hours requiring project manager approval.
