Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist position located in Lodi, California. This role involves assisting the surgical and interventional team in performing cardiac catheterization procedures. The technologist will prepare patients, maintain sterile fields, set up instrumentation, and support patient care during procedures in a high-volume cardiac laboratory environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School Education/GED or equivalent; Associates/Technical Degree or related experience (preferred); Scrub technician experience (preferred); Operating room experience and/or training course (preferred); Certified Surgery Technician (CST) or Tech in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) certification (required); Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor (required); Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (preferred)
- Essential Functions: Prepares for each cardiac procedure by accurately checking required supplies and equipment; assembles supplies and instrumentation; reviews equipment inventory for assigned cases; sets up operative instrumentation and maintains sterile fields; performs equipment cleaning and housekeeping duties; transports patients as scheduled; completes instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts with Registered Nurse (RN); labels solutions according to standards; performs other related duties as assigned
