Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves working in a 125-bed cardiology unit at a hospital that is a 24-hour STEMI facility. The role requires invasive cardiology scrub experience and involves supporting procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, and implantable devices. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30, with call responsibilities every other week.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week, from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in ACLS, BLS, RCIS, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech. Ideal candidates have invasive cardiology scrub experience and monitor experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced equipment such as IABP, IMPELLA, OCT, IVUS, FFR; excellent multitasking, high-level communication skills, and a team-oriented approach.
- Additional Information: Support for procedures including invasive LHC, RHC, PCI; implantable devices like PPM, ICD; use of advanced specialty equipment; unit has high staff tenure, modern technology, and a staff engagement score over 90%. The hospital is TJC accredited in multiple areas, including Chest Pain and Stroke, and has consistently high safety grades and recognition as a top workplace.
