Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing ionizing radiation with a high level of independence, employing technical expertise, and applying established protocols. The role requires working overnight shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) approved school of Radiologic Technology or verified completion of a program with the scheduled graduation date; two years of relevant experience; ARRT certification; Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Travel: No travel required.
- Additional Information: The Technologist will independently perform diagnostic radiography procedures, utilize complex imaging equipment, administer contrast agents as ordered, and ensure proper documentation and coding of exams.
