Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Atlanta, Georgia. This position involves providing dedicated pediatric respiratory care in a Level I trauma Center with extensive critical care areas including PICU, NICU, and Emergency Department. The role requires flexibility to float across various pediatric and intensive care units, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care during 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour nights with every other weekend required
• Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience; pediatric experience required; active Georgia license at the time of submission; certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS; must be registered; extensive critical care experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Emergency Department (ED); level I trauma experience highly preferred; flu vaccine required with no exemptions accepted; must be open to floating across units; RRT certification.
• Additional Information: NICOTINE FREE FACILITY, must be tested along with drug screen. Shift includes floating across ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas. The facility requires flu vaccination for the upcoming flu season. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in use is Epic.
