Job Summary:
Pediatric Respiratory Therapist in Atlanta, Georgia. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services for pediatric patients across various care areas, including ICU, emergency department, and general pediatrics. The role requires flexibility to float between departments and adherence to hospital protocols, including mandatory flu vaccination and active Georgia license.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Nights, every other weekend required, minimum 36 hours per week
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience, pediatric experience required, extensive critical care experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Emergency Department (ED) required, must be registered, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required, active Georgia license required at time of submission, flu vaccine required (no exemptions accepted), RTO must be included at time of submission, must be open to floating.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Position involves RRT responsibilities in ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas. Candidate must pass nicotine test along with drug screen. This is a flu vaccine mandatory facility for the 2025-2026 flu season.
