The Portland-based Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technician) position involves operating radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. The role includes preparing patients and equipment, positioning patients correctly, ensuring safety protocols, and documenting procedures accurately. Job Details
- Position: X-ray Technologist (XRAY TECH)
- Location: 10123 Se Market Street, Portland, Oregon, 97216
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
- Hours: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R) certification, Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, and facility-specific BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in radiologic technology is preferred, but not required.
- Additional Information: The role requires performing screening procedures, explaining examinations to patients, preparing examination rooms and equipment, positioning patients, monitoring safety, producing diagnostic images, and documenting exam information. Candidates must adhere to vaccination requirements and participate in E-Verify as part of employment compliance.
